How Booking With Us Works
From Enquiry to Confirmation
This is how every booking with wherewegoing? works, whichever Travel Engineer you deal with and however you first got in touch.
You Get in Touch
Contact us however suits you, whether that’s a social media message, WhatsApp, email or the contact form on our website. A Travel Engineer will talk through what you have in mind. Nobody will ask you for money at this stage.
We Email Your Quote
Your Travel Engineer prepares a quote and sends it from our website. It arrives by email from an address ending @wherewegoing.co.uk, carries wherewegoing? branding and includes your booking reference.
You Accept Your Quote
The buttons on your quote open your itinerary on wherewegoing.co.uk. Choose Let’s Book It when you’re happy, or It’s Not for Me if it isn’t quite right.
You Complete Your Booking on Our Website
You add your traveller details and agree the booking terms in a secure form on our website. Before you enter anything, check that the web address in your browser starts with https://wherewegoing.co.uk.
You Pay Through Our Secure Payment Page
Your card payment is taken on our secure payment page and processed by Protected Payment Services, our payment partner. Your bank may ask you to approve it. Protected Payment Services email your receipt straight away, and your money is held in a travel trust account through Protected Trust Services, never in anyone’s personal account.
Your Travel Engineer Books Your Travel
Your Travel Engineer books your travel with the supplier and sends your confirmation. A payment receipt on its own isn’t a booking confirmation, so if you haven’t heard from us, get in touch.
We Will Never Ask You to Pay Into a Personal Bank Account
Nobody representing wherewegoing?, including our Travel Engineers and the partners who work with us, will ever ask you to pay them directly or into a personal bank account.
Every payment you make to us is taken on our secure payment page at wherewegoing.co.uk, processed by Protected Payment Services and held in a travel trust account through Protected Trust Services.
Signs a Request Isn’t From Us
Fraudsters sometimes pretend to be travel companies or the people who work for them. Stop and check with us if any of these happen.
You’re asked to pay into a personal bank account, or to send money to anyone directly.
Someone sends you bank details in a message and asks you to pay by bank transfer.
A payment page’s web address doesn’t start with https://wherewegoing.co.uk.
The booking reference doesn’t match the one on your quote.
You’re offered a discount for paying another way, or told you must pay within minutes.
You’re asked for your card details, passwords or one-time passcodes by message or email.
Not Sure? Check With Us Before You Pay
If anything about a request doesn’t feel right, don’t pay it. Contact us using the details on this page, not the details in the message you received, and we’ll tell you whether it’s genuine.
You can reach us on WhatsApp or by phone on +44 7343 087610, or through our contact page.
Already paid someone? Call your bank straight away using the number on the back of your card, then let us know so we can help.
